Nurses with, or without, mental health specific experience who demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop their skills professionally are encouraged to apply. An excellent opportunity is available for nurses new to mental health to engage in a 12 month training program, while supported by your line manager and develop your knowledge around various aspects of Mental Health.
About the Role:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides holistic patient-centred care and practice within an interdisciplinary team environment. The RN practises independently and interdependently. Assumes accountability and responsibility for own actions and delegation of care to enrolled nurses, assistants in nursing and healthcare workers. Demonstrates evidence of increasing autonomy and exercises greater levels of professional judgement in the clinical environment as the employee moves from a beginning to an experienced practitioner.
Salary Information:
The total remuneration value of up to $103,469 p.a., is comprised of a salary between $35.66 - $45.74 p.h. (p.t) or $70,702 - $90,686 (f.t), up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution and 17.5% leave loading. (Nurse Grade 5).
Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements:
It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases as listed on the Role Description.
