Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Pharmacists for future temporary, full time and part time opportunities. The Logan and Beaudesert Hospital Pharmacy Department consists of approximately 55 full time equivalent pharmacists, 1 intern pharmacist and associated support personnel. The Department services 410 beds at Logan Hospital, 22 beds at Beaudesert Hospital as well as the community Mental Health services and the Palen Creek Correctional Facility.

About the Role
Working as part of the Pharmacy Department team you will be responsible for the provision of a broad range of clinical Pharmacy services to the facilities within the Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals.
- Deliver evidence based clinical pharmacy services [which may include dispensing (inpatient, outpatient and discharge), requisition, medication reconciliation, drug information, counselling and recommendation] in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
About the Pharmacy Department
The staff of the Pharmacy Department maintain all Pharmacy services throughout the Logan - Beaudesert Hospitals. This involves the formulation and implementation of quality use of medicine practices in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The implementation and maintenance of high-quality medication safety standards for patients are a prime activity for all staff. The dissemination of accurate and timely drug information to staff, patients and community providers is currently an active aim, along with the introduction of more clinical pharmacy services within the Logan and Beaudesert Hospitals.
The Process
This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help the Pharmacy Department identify potentially suitable applicants for future Pharmacy employment opportunities. If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Clinical Talent Pool for a period of 12 months and you will be contacted further by the Pharmacy Department at the time an opportunity arises.
Additional selection processes (interview, reference checks and pre-employment checks) to further assess suitability for appointment to a specific position may be required. Specialty skills will be assessed to determine eligibility for available positions.
