About the role
- The Department of Anaesthesia and Perfusion Services will assist appointees to develop: a consultant approach; an interest in continuing education; an interest in teaching skills; an interest in and understanding of research; a responsible attitude and commitment to the training of junior staff; an interest in professional activity in anaesthesia and intensive care.
- This position is to provide a high-quality service within the Health Service.
About you

- Integrity – demonstrates sound decision quality, ensures accountability, demonstrates courage in the face of adversity and works effectively / manages complexity to ensure work output and decisions are ethical and invariably of a high standard
- Ability to provide skilled anaesthetic care, and work within a Professional Multidisciplinary Team in a Specialist Surgical Environment.
- Completion or intended completion of part II FANZCA exam or equivalent, and completion of Advanced Training period (AT1 and AT2 years) of FANZCA training programme or equivalent.
- Motivation and commitment to complete a further period of training in a subspecialty area(s) of interest. It is anticipated that candidates will indicate areas of interest in their short statement below.
