Woodford Correctional Centre (WFDCC) is the largest correctional centre in Queensland and accommodates male prisoners. The centre has both a Maximum- Security Unit and a purpose-built Safety Unit - accommodating some of the most complex and vulnerable male prisoners. A Psychologist provides high quality psychological services, including psychological assessments, case management and interventions that promote the mental health, well-being and safety of adults accommodated in correctional centres.

Your Impact:
As a Psychologist at QCS, you'll play a crucial role in transforming lives. You'll work within a multidisciplinary team, employing evidence-based assessments and brief interventions for adults facing challenges related to mental health, suicidality, cognitive impairment, or developmental disorders.
Essential Qualifications:
•Eligibility for registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
•If eligible for Provisional Psychologist registration, you must be on the 4+2 internship pathway or have completed an APAC accredited 5th year degree in psychology and be eligible for the 5+1 internship pathway.
