Your Impact:

As a Psychologist at QCS, you'll play a crucial role in transforming lives. You'll work within a multidisciplinary team, employing evidence-based assessments and brief interventions for adults facing challenges related to mental health, suicidality, cognitive impairment, or developmental disorders.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Eligibility for registration as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • If eligible for Provisional Psychologist registration, you must be on the 4+2 internship pathway or have completed an APAC accredited 5th year degree in psychology and be eligible for the 5+1 internship pathway.

Lotus Glen Correctional Centre L(LGCCL) provides a unique opportunity for staff to work with clients from diverse backgrounds including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from regional and remote settings to address their individual needs.

Psychologists working at the centre will conduct assessment, intervention and case management activities and develop skills, knowledge and experience in applying a culturally safe lens to their practice.

Onsite Board Approved Supervision can be provided. 

Candidates with demonstrated experience in working with people from diverse cultures are strongly encouraged to apply.
