About the Role:
The Office of the Chief Digital Officer (OCDO) is comprised of a Manager (AO8), a Principal Executive Officer (AO7), a Principal Portfolio Officer (AO7) and an IT Project Support Officer (AO4). Collectively, the team is responsible for co-ordinating all ICT compliance and reporting requirements; the ICT project management office; all strategic and high-level correspondence and briefing notes; and human resources services for the Command.
The Principal Executive Officer (Compliance and Reporting) provides strategic and operational support to the CDO through the ongoing coordination of the agency's internal and external ICT governance requirements.
In this role you will:
- Work as part of a small team to support the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and the broader Command's operations;
- Proactively work with DSITC directors and managers to monitor and report on various whole-of-government and departmental ICT governance requirements;
- Coordinate preparation of DSITC operational and business plans and associated reporting obligations;
- Proactively work with DSITC directors and managers within the DSITC to monitor and report on various internal QCS governance measures including, but not limited to, Board of Management action items; Commissioner's Operational Performance Review action items; Internal Audit recommendations and ad-hoc requests from the Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner(s);
- Work with internal stakeholders to maintain and report on risk management registers;
- Objectively critique data and proposed responses by subject matter experts to ensure responses are fit for purpose;
- Maintain high quality reporting registers;
- Provide formal secretariat support to committees, working groups and other meetings as required;
- Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; and
- Undertake other duties as directed by the CDO, the Director, Strategy and Business Services or the Manager, OCDO and IT PMO to support the effective functioning of the OCDO.
