We are seeking innovative, contemporary-thinking Fleet Management professionals who can formulate the multi-disciplinary work streams that will inform and manage our diverse, high investment asset portfolio. The Advisor, Fleet Management, is responsible to manage this portfolio for QCS, that ranges from aging assets to new fit for purpose vehicles and assets. Working with various external and internal stakeholders, you will use your exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiating skills on a daily basis.

As a key member of the Facilities and Assets team, you will need to:

  • Refine and embed effective and efficient Fleet Management Systems to capture fleet operational data that supports:
    • Full utilisation, availability, and unit productivity
    • Lease management
  • Audit reports, asset register updates, actions registers
  • Financial transactions and budget forecasting
  • Wider QCS asset planning processes
  • Pre-emptive effective capital (fleet) replacement program including technology advancements (ie electric vehicles)
  • Liaise with Q-Fleet on the ordering, delivery, and fit out of specialised operational vehicles to ensure maximum value for money
  • Oversee fleet insurance claims and monitor repairs to ensure compliance
  • Manage fleet operations ensuring compliance to relevant registration, safety, statutory and regularity standards.
  • Maintain insurance records and coverage of all QCS fleet, and monitor for cost / budget forecast increases
  • Oversee fleet insurance claims and monitor repairs to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with the Manager Community Corrections and Prisoner Transport to analyse and measure operating performance for QCS fleet to early identify current and emerging business needs, and help prepare relevant business cases
