The Community Corrections and Specialist Operations Command (CCSO) is undertaking significant transformational change and project delivery.

The CCSO program management office (PMO) has been established to enhance CCSO project and program management capabilities, support successful execution of projects within the remit of CCSO, and align associated project efforts with strategic goals.  

The CCSO Change Lead is responsible for defining, planning and managing change and communications management activities to support the implementation of a range of projects within the CCSO reform agenda.

The role will lead the implementation of contemporary and best practice change management strategies as well as communications and engagement tactics to ensure the successful embedding of this way of thinking and working in our corrections environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Manager Business Integration, project streams, Program Director and the CCSO PMO to ensure change and communications activities meet project milestones, deliverables and objectives, and align with the QCS change management framework.

In this role you will:
- Plan and execute change management activities to support implementation of initiatives within our corrections environment across the state.
- Work closely with the CCSO PMO Business Integrations Manager on ensuring Business Readiness activities are planned, actioned and monitored. 
- Develop and implement contemporary and best practice change management plans in collaboration with Portfolio Change (Transformation Office), Project Leadership and Sponsors, to identify and respond to change impacts specific to each location, build change resilience and optimise business readiness.
- Work collaboratively with the project team, business units, and change champions to socialise, integrate and embed changes. 
- Develop strong working relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across the agency to manage expectations, support the change process.
- Plan, develop and implement targeted communication and engagement strategies to ensure all stakeholders are informed, understand and embrace the change. 
- Provide advice to leaders, including project and program leadership, on the change progress, observations and risks associated with the transition to a new way of working.
