The Program Delivery Officer (Domestic and Family Violence) (Level 2) will ensure a high level of community safety through the coordination and delivery of approved domestic and family violence (DFV) programs to those offenders assessed as
requiring offender intervention programs.
QCS currently delivers the agency approved Disrupting Family Violence Program (DFVP) within various correctional centres and is expanding its delivery to both the Borallon Training and Correctional Centre and Townsville Correctional Centre. The Program Delivery Officer (Domestic and Family Violence) (Level 2) is integral to ensuring the delivery of the DFVP within custody, with the aim of eliciting positive behavioural change in prisoners undertaking the program.

Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) are seeking motivated practitioners to undertake the role of our new Program Delivery Officer (Domestic and Family Violence) (Level 2).
You will be part of a team of program facilitators who will co-deliver QCS' endorsed Disrupting Family Violence Program (DFVP) within a custodial environment.
The DFVP is being expanded to deliver across two new sites, namely, the Borallon Training and Correctional Centre and the Townsville Correctional Centre.
You will work within a highly clinical team who are passionate about reducing the rate of Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) through QCS' suite of interventions.
The ideal applicant will have a strong background in working with persons who have committed, or been affected by DFV, possesses the attributes to elicit behavioural changes through offending programs, and an ability to work alongside other specialist units to reduce the rate of recidivism within Queensland.
