The Community Corrections and Specialist Operations Command (CCSO) is undertaking significant transformational change and project delivery. The CCSO program management office (PMO) has been established to enhance CCSO project and program management capabilities, support successful execution of projects within the remit of CCSO, and align associated project efforts with strategic goals.
The Director, CCSO Program Delivery, is responsible for providing strategic oversight and operational support to the Assistant Commissioner, CCSO Project Delivery, and the QCS Executive, on matters related to CCSO program management, secretariat functions, program and project management and delivery, and benefits management.

The ideal applicant will be someone who can competitively demonstrate their knowledge, skills and experiences and their suitability against the Leadership competencies for Queensland (Executive).
Some of the essential requirements for this role include;
- Extensive experience in leading the provision of strategic and operational support in a large and complex human services public sector organisation.
- Extensive experience in leading governance reform and BAU functions in a large and complex human services public sector organisation.
- Extensive experience in program and project management.
- Extensive ability to assess, manage, and propose solutions for complex issues and/or risks to enable achievement of the organisation's priorities and objectives.
- High-level knowledge of contemporary business processes, along with an understanding of the structure and objectives of QCS and its relationships with other agencies and organisations.
- Experience in leading large-scale reform or transformational change within an organisation.
- Detailed knowledge of all relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to the correctional system.
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of reports and executive documentation in accordance with government frameworks and standards.
- Extensive and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data to support effective decision making.
- High-level interpersonal skills to build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders and negotiate with and influence others on sensitive and complex issues.
- Highly developed leadership skills in creating and maintaining effective teams, driving performance and achieving effective service delivery.
