In this role you will:
- Support the Director, Innovation & Integration Group in the provision of an effective and highly capable internal consultancy and strategic project delivery service.
- Develop and implement best practice project management principles, practices, methodologies, and tools to facilitate effective project delivery,
- Lead and manage delivery of a diverse range of key complex and strategic projects and initiatives as directed by the Director, Innovation & Integration Group
- Lead the development of innovative, contemporary and fit for purpose solutions in projects / consultancies, ensuring alignment to the strategic objectives and priorities of QCS.
- Lead complex data-collection, research, analysis, and consultations to support project delivery and inform project recommendations.
- Effectively identify and manage risks and issues to ensure successful delivery of designated projects and initiatives.
- Track, monitor, and report on the status of projects, initiatives and consultancies being managed.
- Lead and manage the successful implementation of initiatives and project outcomes / recommendation, ensuring the intended benefits are realised.
- Manage responses to adhoc requests relating to business and corrective system improvement initiatives.
- Provide evidence-base expert advice to the Deputy Commissioner Organisational Capability and other Executive relating to designated project / consultancy findings and outcomes that have significant implications for QCS.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholder to facilitate delivery of designated projects/ consultancies and implementation of initiatives/ project recommendations.
- Prepare reports, briefing notes, and presentations on designated project / consultancy outcomes, findings, and recommendations.
- Ensure the effective use and management to human and financial resources to deliver projects in an efficient and commercially sustainable manner.
- Contribute to developing a workplace environment that values performance, continuous improvement, and innovation in the delivery of high quality services.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned.
