The Operational Performance and Reporting Group (OPRG) works with QCS Command leaders to assist in the achievement of corporate and strategic business objectives. This includes: proactively setting performance targets while actively communicating these to the business.
This is achieved through assessing, analysing and reporting on operational performance, as well as engaging with the business to interpret analysis to ensure that early corrective actions can be implemented.

In this role you will:
- Provide advice and support to stakeholders on application of the Queensland Government Performance Framework.
- Develop, review and evaluate key performance measures, indicators and counting rules.
- Provide advice and support to staff in line with established frameworks.
- Assist the Manager with the development of high-level corporate reporting documents such as Service Delivery Statements,
- Budget Statements and Output Reports through the provision of regular performance reports and information.
- Assist with the co-ordination and ongoing management of the Commissioner's Operational Performance Reviews.
- Consult with stakeholders and coordinate collection of information from a number of sources.
- Aggregate data and analyse trends.
- Undertake statistical analysis of data relating to relevant aspects of QCS operations and activities.
- Develop and prepare reports and provide advice to support operational performance meetings and reviews.
- Undertake analysis and development of reports and enhancements under general direction.
- Design and prepare written reports as necessary.
- Prepare business cases, reports, submissions, briefings and correspondence.
- Establish and maintain collaborative networks with business and other stakeholders.
- Manage your workflow by negotiating and confirming priorities for work completion in consideration of needs of other officers.
- Maintain own level of knowledge of legislation, policies and procedures relevant to the correctional jurisdiction.
- Maintain own knowledge of contemporary issues involving corrective services.
- Participate in various operational activities including projects and new releases.
