The Transformation Office, within the Office of the Commissioner, Queensland Corrective Services (QCS), is responsible for leading the planning and delivery of the QCS’ portfolio and reform agenda. The Office works collaboratively across QCS and with external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of Portfolio investment. Our work is interesting, diverse, and often fast-paced.
The Portfolio Delivery Group is the key business function to ensure the Transformation Office is connected to the broader QCS organisation and the initiatives that sit within it. This Group leads and maintains reporting, provides the overarching governance to individual programs and projects, assists QCS in assessing and managing new initiatives through the Transformation Office and supports program and project delivery teams to deliver outcomes.

Within the context of the role responsibilities described under “About the role', the ideal applicant will be someone who can competitively demonstrate their knowledge, skills and experiences and their suitability against the Leadership competencies for Queensland (Individual Contributor).

The essential requirements for this role are:
- Demonstrated experience in a busy project administration and support role, ideally within a complex, fast-paced, multi-site operating environment.
- Ability to manage competing and/or changing priorities, and take initiative to solve (or escalate) issues.
- Database management and interrogation with proven capability to extract, analyse and incorporate relevant data in project reporting templates and documents.
- Demonstrated experience in data analytics, the use of PPM tools and business intelligence functionalities.
- Experience in establishing and managing document libraries (templates, document control, reports, contracts, correspondence, etc.) that ensure appropriate project information storage and rapid retrieval.
- Sound familiarity with project management methodologies and interpreting accompanying documents.
- High level written and interpersonal skills that build and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Formal qualifications in project management would be highly desirable.
