Regional sentence management teams are located around the state, including one team located in Northbank plaza which also has a sub team in Townsville. Each Regional Manager is responsible for all sentence management functions within their locations, including the lawful detention of prisoners, human resource management and performance of SMS teams

The most suitable applicant will demonstrate their applied knowledge, skills and experiences against these essential role requirements of the Team leader leadership stream:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, mentor and encourage others to adhere to procedural and legislative provisions;
- Proven experience in managing risk and in creating mitigation strategies to ensure delegated authority is applied correctly and in an equitable manner;
- Proven experience in managing stakeholder relationships and maintaining internal and external networks;
- Proven experience in or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of the criminal justice system or similar human services/regulatory agency.
