Project Coordinator
Capacity Management Group; Custodial Operations; Brisbane
The Capacity Management Group leads system level planning, projects, activities and initiatives associated with capacity management across QCS.
It provides leadership and promotes best practice in the prioritisation and sequencing of effort, delivering timely, valued and connected change for matters related to capacity management for QCS.
The group is also responsible for the coordination, monitoring and effective delivery of a range of operational projects as per a QCS Capacity Management Action Plan.
To deliver this critical work, we are seeking people with strong experience in delivering projects or complex bodies of work, and the organisational skills to set priorities, coordinate activities and meet deadlines.

The essential requirements for this role are:
- Establish reporting calendar and manage timeframes with Director, Program Manager and Project Managers/Managers, to prepare and compile monthly and other project reports, that are submitted up to Executive Level
- Assist with the preparation of assurance reviews, briefs, memorandums, submissions and executive and ministerial correspondence
- Establish and maintain program and project documentation registers and electronic directory structures ensuring ease of information retrieval, currency of documentation used for project decision and reporting purposes, and practical artefact filing
- Examine and register incoming and outgoing correspondence refer to departmental style guidelines for formatting and grammatical errors and amend where necessary
- Maintain communication channels and content for currency and accuracy, ie intranet, TEAMS channels, program microsite, and other communications as required
- Fact check information flow and sequencing to ensure version control for reports and correspondence are contextually correct for audience
- Support the preparation of project briefs, memorandums, submissions, reporting and correspondence
There are no mandatory qualifications for this position however formal qualifications in management and/or corrections (or a related discipline) would be highly regarded.
