Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our People Capability Command. This is a sixmonth temporary vacancy with possibility for extension and a talent pool for other future opportunities that may arise.HR Business Partners work with leaders across the organisation, providing workforce solutions across a diverse and operationally complex portfolio.

As a trusted advisor, you will provide expert, evidence-based HR advice and business partnering to senior leaders. You will have a client-centric consultancy approach, strengthening relationships, improving workforce capability, and delivering practical HR solutions aligned to organisational priorities.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to address complex workforce challenges
  • Analysing workforce data and trends to inform decision-making
  • Delivering Masterclass sessions on HR topics to uplift workforce management capability
  • Supporting consistent and high-quality HR service delivery across the business

About You:

You are a confident and credible HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You bring:

  • Strong experience in HR business partnering and consultancy within complex organisations
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of industrial frameworks, legislation, and contemporary HR practices
  • Exceptional communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
