About the Role:

The Public Health Officer (Identified) is vital in providing frontline Public Health COVID-19 support and response to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities within Central Queensland and Central West Hospital and Health Services.

Identified Position:

This role is designated as Indigenous Identified. Under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be Indigenous to the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community. To allow the panel to confirm that you are eligible to be considered for this Indigenous Identified role, the panel may obtain from you, as part of your formal application, documentary evidence attesting to your Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent. Mandatory Qualification:

The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree qualification in Public Health (or equivalent).

Salary Information for a Public Health Officer (Identifed) - HP3

The total remuneration value of up to $9,439 p.m.. and is comprised of a salary between $2,836.20 - $3,805 p.f., up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution and 17.5% leave loading.

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Requirements:

It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases as listed on the Role Description.
