Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Graduate

An exciting opportunity is available for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander law graduate looking to make a real and tangible difference in promoting human rights at the commencement of their career.

The QHRC Indigenous law graduate development program is aimed at building human rights capability among Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander graduates in law in Queensland. The program provides a law graduate with a unique opportunity to work in our Legal, Policy and Research team over 18 months.

We're looking for a legal graduate who is an excellent communicator, innovative, resourceful and willing to challenge the status quo.
Successful candidates will be offered an 18 month temporary contract commencing January 2021.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor degree in law by the commencement of the program or have completed a law degree or post-graduate legal qualification no more than two years prior to the commencement of the program.
