This EXPRESSION OF INTEREST is open only to current employees of the Queensland Government.
Develop, support and assist with implementing initiatives, in accordance with community wishes and priorities, to reduce harm associated with the misuse of alcohol and other drugs and to improve mental wellbeing.The position is community based, and the incumbent will be expected to work with a broad range of individuals across both ATODS and Mental health teams.

- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class “C” motor vehicle, and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty.
- Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position.
- Mornington Island and Doomadgee communities have an alcohol management strategy that applies to all residents and visitors. Availability of alcohol in the communities is limited and conditions apply to consumption. No private individual is permitted to take alcohol into the Mornington Island or Doomadgee communities.
