The role  
The role supports the Branch's work responding to the systemic barriers and challenges experienced by people with disability accessing the health system. In the role, you will manage disability reform policy projects with complex and sensitive matter. You will have strong analytical skills and ability to navigate complex legislative and regulatory requirements. You will have strong communication skills and ability to engage and influence a broad range of stakeholders to ahiceve high quality policy outcomes.  The successful person will have strong writing skills and be experienced at preparing policy materials for a range of audiences. 

The successful person
You will demonstrate: 
•    high-level strategic, conceptual, leadership and analytical skills relevant to a range of social and health priority areas
•    experience preparing policy materials and for a range of audiences
•    the ability to manage projects, undertake research, interpret trends and provide detailed critical analysis of reports, discussion papers and other documentation and to provide advice on policies and strategies
•    high-level verbal communication skills, including experience confidently and clearly negotiating and presenting complex concepts and advice to internal and external stakeholders
•    high-level written communication skills, prerably with experience in writing for government.
