As an Administrative Officer, the appointee will perform a range of court and registry related duties in the criminal and civil jurisdictions, providing services and administrative support to all stakeholder and court users including judicial officers.

• Deliver administrative support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of Queensland Court Services registries, including the provision of information to members of the public, jurors and other internal and external courts' users and partners about court and registry services;

• Comply with administrative processes, policies and procedures relating to the operation of the court and registry to ensure the delivery of quality services to relevant clients and stakeholders;

• Prepare, process and manage correspondence, court documents, exhibits, and documents of an administrative and/or financial nature in accordance with legislation and departmental policies and procedures in a timely and accurate manner;

• Use, update and monitor relevant databases, registers and files, ensuring accuracy of data, and that systems are used in line with departmental guidelines;

• Make proclamations, open, adjourn and close courts, administer prescribed oaths or affirmations and maintain security, care and control of jurors, and perform other court-related duties including bailiff duties, as required;

• Efficiently operate court technology as required;

• Any other reasonable tasks as delegated by the Registrar
