Dysart is a relatively young town in Central Queensland that was constructed in order to service nearby coal mines. The town has now developed into a thriving location with an array of facilities including sporting facilities, parks, shaded skate park, recreational centre, public swimming pool, grocery store, petrol stations, restaurants and cafes. The town is also home to a wide array of local wildlife including many koalas who live in the eucalyptus trees throughout the town.
