  • Science (Year 7-10) & Mathematics (Year 7-12) and HPE (Year 7-10)
  • Humanities and Social Sciences (Middle Years)/English

Known as the Heart of the Dawson Valley', Moura is a thriving rural town with strong coal mining, cotton processing, wheat, sorghum and chemical manufacturing industries. The community is set on the banks of the Dawson River giving it prime access to parklands, public facilities and prime fishing spots.

Each year the town is home to an array of exciting events including camp drafts and festivals. The Muddy Water Classic is a popular fishing competition that draws people to the area for a weekend of fun. Another noteworthy event is the weeklong Coal and Country Festival that includes festivities such as coal shovelling and a professional rodeo.

  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.   • In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services (including State Delivered Kindergarten programs) require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services. For more information on blue cards and exemption cards, please Click Here.
  • Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.
  • Working rights in Australia, which means you have, or you are eligible to obtain a valid Australian Visa with work rights (if you're not already an Australian Citizen or resident).
