The opportunity

Over 9000 allied health professional and technical staff work as critical members of the multi-disciplinary health workforce to provide high value, client-centred allied health services with care in the right setting, at the right time. This is enabled through leadership and workforce development, clinical education and training, research and digital transformation.
We are now recruiting experienced Allied Health professionals State-wide! We are calling all Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, Podiatrists, Dieticians, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Sonographers, Speech Pathologists, Medical Radiation Professionals, and all other Allied Health streams who are looking to work for Queensland Health.
The roles available will be widespread across 16 Health Services which include:
- Cairns and Hinterland
- Children's Health
- Central Queensland
- Central West
- Darling Downs
- Gold Coast
- Metro North
- Metro South
- Mackay
- North West
- South West
- Sunshine Coast
- Torres and Cape
- Townsville
- Wide Bay
- West Moreton

We are encouraging applications from qualified Allied Health professionals with experience across a broad range of specialities for job opportunities on either a full time or part time basis.
To be considered for these opportunities, you must have the following:
- Minimum 12 months demonstrated experience in your clinical area of expertise
- Relevant qualifications and the ability to provide registration (AHPRA)/ or eligibility for memberships for your professional association as appropriate to your discipline (e.g., AASW, ASAR, ACCP etc)
- Ability to provide vaccination evidence
- Australian Working Rights
