An opportunity exists within Queensland Parks & Wildlife Service and Partnerships has an opportunity to join the team in Ingham as a Ranger in Charge until 31 May 2024 with the possibility of extension.

This role's focus area's include Girringun National Park, Abergowrie State Forest and Halifax Bay Wetlands Nation Parks, working collaboratively with the Hinchinbrook Shire Council, First Nations people, and community associations to contribute towards ensuring a high level of land management practices occur.

This position provides direction, support, mentoring and guidance to the team. It requires a keen and enthusiastic person who can motivate others through their own performance and strong work ethic.

The work requires both administrative and field based work, so a good level of physical fitness and some administrative skill are requirements of the role. If this sounds like you, please see the position description for more details and requirements of the role.
