The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) is looking for three (3) AO8 Negotiators to join our Native Title Agreements Team.
You will be part of a small and highly collaborative team currently working to secure Indigenous Land Use Agreements in Queensland.
If you are an effective communicator with a background or interest in negotiation or mediation, and are familiar with the native title environment, we want to hear from you!

As a Manager / Negotiator – Native Title Agreements you will be part of a team undertaking complex negotiations with native title holders, local government representatives and commercial interests, aimed at obtaining the voluntary agreement of parties to Indigenous Land Use Agreements (ILUAs).
We are looking for motivated individuals with strong organisational and communication skills and familiarity with the social, legal or legislative environments in which native title is a feature.
These roles are best suited to self-starters who can work autonomously to deliver quality outcomes, while being able to operate effectively in a high functioning team that gets things done.
