Two exciting opportunities exist within the QPWS&P Northern Region to join teams in Cairns and Ingham as a OO5 Ranger (Resource).
Resource Rangers support their teams with their strong awareness of policy and legislation. They have good communication and administrative skills and are highly organised with a good level of physical fitness.
Resource Rangers work is varied, ranging from completing assessments, surveys, investigations and reporting on botanical, environment and infrastructure on protected area estate, to field activities including work like managing pests and leading wildfire operations.
They work closely and collaboratively with teams and critical stakeholders such as local councils, Traditional Owners and community groups. If this sounds like you, please see the application package for more information and how to apply.
