As the Executive Officer you will:
• Provide financial support and advice on financial management and budgetary activities including the coordination and preparation of budget allocations, reporting on expenditure of budgets, proposing remedial strategies and actioning where required.
• Co-ordinate and provide advice on human resource management activities including recruitment and selection, establishment management, reporting against targets, training, Workplace Health and Safety (WPH&S) and Performance Planning and Review.
• Co-ordinate, prepare and monitor corporate governance requirements, including briefing notes, correspondence, ministerial responses, business planning processes, monthly reports and other information requests, ensuring information is accurate and deadlines are met.
• Provide ongoing support, training and advice to staff with regards to workforce, financial, correspondence, executive reporting and general administrative services to ensure compliance with the Agency's policies and procedures.
• Review and evaluate administrative and reporting systems and recommend improvements to increase their efficiency and effectiveness.
• Co-ordinate meetings and liaison activities with various stakeholders, clients, traditional owners and staff member groups including preparation of presentations, minute taking and the co-ordination of actions resulting from these.
• Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.
