Assistant Compliance Officer

Operating in the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation as an Assistant Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for providing a range of regulatory and administrative activities from a compliance, and client service perspective relating to legislation administered by OLGR. You will need to have a strong customer focus, be highly motivated and focused on delivering outcomes.

Key responsibilities of the role are:
• Assessing enquiries and complaints in relation to matters of non compliance relevant to OLGR's legislation.
• Undertaking investigations into matters of non-compliance and providing advice to industry, both verbal and in written communication
• Analysing and processing data from other government agencies, including the Queensland Police Service.
• Performing general administrative duties including the receipting of applications, record maintenance and actioning internal and external correspondence.
• Contributing to the achievement of Compliance Division's goals and objectives.
• Developing your skills to manage your own work- load efficiently, negotiating priorities to meet deadlines where appropriate.
