The Principal Project Officer - Partnerships and Improvement will play a key role in the delivery of a Branch's organisational strategies, including the engagement strategy to support a coordinated approach to engagement with HHSs and other key stakeholders.

About Supply Chain Branch:

Supply Chain is a branch in Corporate Services Division (CSD) supporting the supply of clinical goods, pharmaceuticals and linen products to the Hospital and Health Services (HHSs), Queensland Health. The branch is comprised of functions critical to Queensland Health's supply response, including Warehousing and Logistics, Central Pharmacy, Linen Services and Operations. This branch brings together an end-to-end supply chain function from demand planning through to warehousing and distribution into a single integrated branch led by the Executive Director. The Branch supports clients and stakeholders across the Department of Health, all HHSs, Queensland Government and some external agencies. 

What we are looking for:

  • Highly developed project management skills and the demonstrated ability to plan and implement complex projects on time, in a large organisation, with consideration of multiple stakeholder perspectives.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proven ability to deliver high-quality work in a demanding professional environment.
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills, with demonstrated experience developing collaborative relationships with stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex information from a variety of sources to make informed recommendations.
  • Highly developed ability to identify, manage and mitigate emerging risks in a complex, strategic environment.
  • Demonstrated high level conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work productively both independently and within a team to achieve project and program outcomes.
