Working within the People and Culture area of Corporate Services, you will provide quality, evidence based human resources advisory and consultancy services to management teams and staff of the department.
You will be an integral member of the team:
• supporting a whole of department advisory service that is responsible for triaging and coordinating responses to an expansive range of HR enquiries.

As our Human Resources Consultant, you will:
• Coordinate the provision of accurate and timely advice and consultancy services to the department's management and staff, focussing on delivering effective HR solutions that support a high performing, flexible and constructive work environment.
• Coordinate and provide a range of generalised operational/transactional HR services to the Corporate Services business group.
• Collaborate with the managers and team members of People and Culture to provide quality advice to executives, management, staff and stakeholders by monitoring, triaging, sourcing, and coordinating responses to a wide range of HR enquiries.
• Maintain sound knowledge of current HR legislation, awards, certified agreements, directives, policies, and procedures to support the timely and evidencebased advice and service delivery outcomes.
• Access HR information systems (e.g. Aurion, Employee Self Service [ESS], TADPOLE [time keeper], Power BI [data visualisation tool]) for reporting purposes, to undertake research and provide advice.
• Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with work colleagues, senior management, central agency networks, and internal and external stakeholders.
