As Manager you will be a leader within the specialist Minerals Business Centre, based in Cairns.
You will apply your leadership, project management and technical skills across the Statewide Minerals business making high quality delegated compliance and enforcement decisions relating to activities such as mineral mining and processing, metal smelting and refining and bulk material handling. You will lead risk management and regulation of world scale mining and processing operations.
The Manager will be skilled in managing complex and controversial issues, maintaining key stakeholder relations and communicating with influence. You will work closely with the Director to ensure effective briefings, service delivery, team performance, and identification and management of emerging issues.
Some travel to other centres and offices from time to time may be required.
