The Passenger Transport Strategy and Technology Branch of Translink division, is responsible for designing, delivering, and promoting great public transport customer experiences across Queensland. In addition to leading Translink's customer functions, our branch is charged with delivering customer focused technology projects including the successful program management, delivery and implementation of the multi-year Smart Ticketing and Queensland School Ticketing Projects and the delivery of technology projects governed by the Technology & Strategy Portfolio Delivery Office. In these roles, you'll be part of a passionate and collaborative team, working in a fast-paced environment of project delivery and routine operations to make a difference in the lives of public transport customers.

Key responsibilities
The purpose of the Administration Officer roles is to manage all aspects of day-to-day operations of the Executive Director (Contracts and Commercial) and the Executive Director (Customer Solutions) and their respective wider teams ensuring the provision of professional, timely and confidential administrative support.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Proactively manage diary requirements of the Executive Director to enable efficient use of time. Schedule, organise and attend meetings and co-ordinate all necessary administrative support for such meetings. Where required, take notes and prepare minutes for distribution.
• Provide all round day-to-day administrative support including data administration, meeting room bookings and set up, office logistics and assisting with enquiries.
• Monitor, maintain, update and progress correspondence and related filing systems to ensure deadlines are met and results are consistent with government and departmental standards.
• Manage travel related requirements including accommodation bookings, car hire, air travel and taxi vouchers.
• Coordinate financial and human resource activities including onboarding and offboarding, support and training for the timesheet management system for the wider team.

• Communicates in a clear, succinct, and friendly manner.
