The role of Principal Engineer (Hydraulics) will:
• Provide leadership and technical direction to the Hydraulics & Flooding team, providing authoritative engineering advice and leading-edge hydraulics design engineering and technology development and application to internal and external clients.
• Provide leadership and direction to multi-disciplinary hydraulic design management project teams.
• Harness Transport and Main Roads (TMR) hydraulics design capability through ensuring best practice in hydraulic designs for bridges, culverts and other road drainage devices and investigations of flood damage, delivering projects and technology transfer activities.
