As the Senior Advisor, Right to Information, you will work with limited supervision as part of the Right to Information and Privacy team in the Business and Corporate Services directorate to help Queenslanders to access to government-held information, unless it is contrary to the public interest.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Processing a large caseload of complex and sensitive applications under the Right to Information Act 2009 (RTI Act) and Information Privacy Act 2009 (IP Act), including internal and external reviews.
• Assisting with the management of OIR's disclosure log.
• Responding to administrative information requests and third party consultations.
• Delivery of training in RTI Act compliance across the organisation.
• Mentoring and providing feedback to junior members of the RTI team.

Our workforce needs to be able to respond quickly to new and emerging priorities.

You may be required to undertake alternative duties or work in alternative locations on a temporary or permanent basis to support service delivery.
