As the Executive Officer you will:
• Provide high level confidential and client-focused executive support to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the ITP team in a fast-paced and sensitive working environment, including undertaking research, collating information, and drafting presentation packages, and meeting papers
• Prepare and quality assure high quality submissions, briefs, presentations and reports relating to complex issues of a confidential and sensitive nature as required.
Particularly:
- Ministerial and Departmental briefing notes
- official correspondence
- parliamentary estimates briefs
- parliamentary questions on notice
• Liaise and negotiate with the group's management team, departmental officers, and other government and external stakeholders to facilitate quality outcomes and assist in the smooth running of the Office of the CIO
• Assist the Principal Executive Officer in their role, this may include occasional project work, data collation, event support and review of processes to ensure best practice are occurring.
• Maintain a high level of understanding of departmental activities, services, organisation arrangements and protocols and provide advice to the ITP staff on current and emerging issues.
• Provide secretariat services to governance boards and senior leadership groups for ITP.
• Stay informed on a wide range of policies and delegation levels which include financial, procurement, and human resource procedures.
• Review and implement administrative process within the business unit to ensure business processes are efficient and adhere to policies, procedures, and departmental standards.
• Actively participate in a team environment and contribute to a positive culture, where team members enjoy coming to work, and understand the contributions their role plays in the success of business outcomes.

We are looking for someone with:
- Excellence in Microsoft office suite programs - Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
- Excellent Communication skills
- Proven experience with communication tools such as Outlook, Sharepoint and Teams
- Knowledge of State Government systems is preferred but not mandatory
- Proven experience in Senior Executive Support Roles
