This job is a fantastic opportunity to significantly contribute to and lead elements of policy, legislative and business process reforms related to a broad range of industry accreditation schemes, with a specific focus on ensuring the safety of Queensland roads. You will also perform research and analysis contributing to continuous improvement, change and accreditation reform.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Define and analyse complex policy and develop solutions that consider a variety of perspectives, including but not limited to the public and industry.
• Identify and pursue policy opportunities to reform schemes improving road safety and balancing industry outcomes.
• Autonomously manage a program of policy and scheme administration work, delivering initiatives in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage and coordinate the resources of project teams to ensure that business outcomes, performance indicators, project deliverables and deadlines are achieved.
• Engage, communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across the department, government, industry and community in relation to the achievement of strategic transport system priorities.
• Prepare timely and well researched cabinet submissions, briefs and/or policy documents.
• Bring an enthusiastic and positive approach to work, with an ability to acquire subject matter expertise, be adaptive to change, learn new skills and work within ambiguity and risk.
