Who We Are

The Queensland Government Customer and Digital Group's (QGCDG) focus is to grow a thriving digital economy in Queensland, and enable more responsive, simple, and effective services for all Queenslanders. They provide strategic and policy leadership for Queensland Government on digital, customer experience and service delivery matters. They also support agencies with design management, capability development, corporate shared services, and customer service channels.

The Cyber Security Unit (CSU) is responsible for progressing government cyber security capability. This team provides cyber security leadership, governance, policy and standards, advocacy, capability development, security incident coordination and delivers of whole of Government security services.

This role is crucial for advancing the government's cyber security maturity by identifying and addressing critical needs, assembling agile teams to deliver innovative solutions, and ensuring sustainable deployment of these capabilities. As the Director Delivery, you will play a key role in uplifting cyber security across diverse government entities, managing resources and milestones, and providing expert advice to optimise cyber initiatives and support job readiness in the sector. Leading a team, this role drives the evolution of cyber security practices, ensuring robust protection against current and emerging threats.

Who you are

You are a skilled leader proficient in technical operations and multi-stakeholder environments, with experience in team development and mentoring. You excel in communication, consultation, and negotiation, and can understand and present complex technical issues to executive audiences.

You will demonstrate probity and professionalism through effective organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and uphold behaviours aligned to QGCDG's values of Customers First, Ideas into Action, Unleash Potential, Be Courageous and Empower People.
