• Great people skills and an ability to manage yourself in critical situations we are primarily a compliance team tasked with conducting face to face compliance activities to protect native wildlife and provide advice on wildlife matters to the public.

• An appetite for and ability to solve complex problems using initiative, collaboration, tenacity and assist in the implementation of new processes and technologies,
• An ability to be a productive, supportive, and reliable team member who can apply critical thinking skills to wildlife management and educational programs.

What is in it for you?
• You will have the opportunity to make a real contribution to protecting Queensland's native flora and fauna.
• You will be mentored by experienced leaders to continue to develop your own compliance and animal husbandry/handling skills in the classroom and on the job.
• No two days are the same here, regulatory compliance and managing human/animal interactions are ever changing activities. South Coast team members regularly travel and work to support other wildlife team members across Southern Wildlife Operation's area of responsibility.

About you
• You are self-motivated person with enthusiasm and drive. You will be able to work within a small but very active high performing team. You will measure your own success through your team thriving and kicking goals in a sometimes-challenging environment.
