Your Key Accountabilities:
The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Implement and manage state-wide vehicle and trailer maintenance programs, including heavy plant.
- Manage the forecasting and coordination of MRQ repair and replacement requirements, including analysis of budgets and maintenance costs.
- Contribute to fleet asset projects of a complex nature, utilising contemporary project management techniques and tools.
- Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders through engagement coordinating technical and operational matters.
- Prepare correspondence, briefings, reports, and submissions relevant to MRQ fleet assets program management.
- Provide quality advice to MRQ management on the development of operational policy and systems to support current and future equipment requirements for vehicles and trailers.
- Provide expertise to internal and external stakeholders on issues and initiative pertaining to fleet which contribute to broader operational requirements.
Role Requirements:
Mandatory:
- Possession of Open ‘C' Class Queensland Drivers License.
Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience:
- Experience in a similar role/industry would be highly regarded.
Other:
- Disaster Management experience
- Ability to travel intra-state in alignment with service requirements.
