• Engage and work with business units across divisions in DESI to provide specialist advice on managing biodiversity data and information in the WildNet platform, including the development and application of data and information policies and guidelines as part of maturing DESI's biodiversity data management.
• Engage and work across teams to support the planning, structuring, organising, integration and migration of biodiversity data from multiple systems (internal and external) to an integrated WildNet platform for the application of data sharing, analytics, reporting and visualisation by users to support better business decision making for government, business and the community.
• Lead the team to perform a diverse range of data management activities including data acquisition, curation, loading, cataloguing, and applying data policies, standards, taxonomies and vocabularies in line with national approaches.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external collaborators in government, research and private sectors to collaboratively solve biodiversity data and information management problems, which includes active participation in DESI wide and national working groups.
