Your part in the ongoing success of our business in supporting key frontline services will see you responsible for a variety of work.

ICT Projects directorate leads the successful delivery of a portfolio of ICT projects to QPS MRQ and SES through the implementation of appropriate governance, resources, systems, frameworks, processes and standards.

The core capability requirements for this role are:

  • Provide high level advice and recommendations on business system improvement and implementation practices including the identification of impacts on operational requirements.
  • Establish, build and maintain effective working relationships with technical and business representatives to elicit requirements to inform technical design and implementation to support the delivery of quality services to clients.
  • Formulate and develop strategies to facilitate organisational change and enhance business and service delivery outcomes.
  • Coordinate the development of plans, procedures and best practice service delivery models which support business goals and objectives through ensuring alignment with detailed requirements.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report on the implementation, application and performance of business and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with other team members to contribute to the maintenance of high-quality deliverables.
  • Assist in identification of risks and issues that may impact the successful implementation of business initiatives.

Role Requirements:

Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience

Highly Desirable

  • Proven track record of developing and managing quality systems and quality assurance programs. Kanban, Agile, Scrum methodologies
  • Contemporary knowledge of Agile and waterfall project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of one of more of the following technical specialities:
    - Databases
    - Infrastructure and systems
    - Cloud (AWS/Azure)
    - Applications

Knowledge and Experience

  • 5 years' experience in a Business Analysis role
  • ITIL V4 Foundation
  • All phases of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and use of tools to record and manage requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science
