Role Overview:
As a Senior Network Officer within CITEC, a pivotal branch of the newly established Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (DCSODSFB), you'll be at the core of transforming and enabling technologies that serve the entire Queensland Government. This role provides an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to significant ICT projects and services, such as data centres, networks, and cyber security.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage incident resolution, facilitating vendor partnerships and carrier management. Execute changes for service enhancements, fostering network stability. Share insightful expertise, mentoring colleagues within the Network Operations Centre. Implement key projects with the Connectivity team, driving innovations. Participate in assessing new technologies to bolster CITEC's service framework. Provide on-call support and undertake out-of-hours tasks as scheduled. Contribute to research and help determine the integration of emerging technologies.
About You:
With at least three years of industry-related experience, you offer deep insights into network administration within service provider or enterprise environments. You're well-versed in data networking concepts, incident resolution, and problemsolving within IT infrastructure. Your knowledge-sharing capabilities and mentoring attributes are exceptional. You demonstrate a clear and effective approach to communication, catering to a diverse customer base.
