As a Support Officer in the All Hazards Crisis Capability team in the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, you will play a key role in supporting crisis communication across the Queensland Government and collaborating with the Policy Division to support the management of all hazards disaster and crisis coordination capabilities.
Working across a range of hazards, such as cyclones and bushfires, you will work under the guidance of communication professionals and policy advisors to support the development and implementation of crisis communication and engagement strategies and disaster management policies to help keep Queenslanders safe.

About Us: At the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), our primary responsibility is to provide support and guidance to the Premier and Cabinet to effectively deliver on the government's priorities, commitments, decisions and objectives for the betterment of the community. The Behavioural Economics and External Affairs sits within DPC's Cabinet Office and provides media and communication services, leads and coordinates whole-of-government crisis communication efforts and delivers innovative and future-focused service delivery and policy reform using evidence-based behavioural science solutions for the Queensland Government.
Your opportunity: As Support Officer, you will contribute to the All Hazards Crisis Capability function in DPC, collaborating with Policy units to support crisis communication preparedness and response across Queensland Government agencies. You will use your exceptional organisation and communication skills, attention to detail and professional work ethic to support the delivery of communication and engagement strategies and integrated disaster management policies for Queensland.
