Your key accountabilities

The core capability requirements for this role are:

• Provide expert technical and strategic advice on delivery of assets.
• Manage, capture and maintain relevant asset related information for assets planning.
• Undertake research and analyse trends in asset management.
• Manage, prepare and review complex reports, submissions and briefings including Asset Management Plans, CBRC submissions and Forward Procurement Plans to senior executive and committees relating to assets and capability.
• Co-ordinate and develop effective asset management accountability across the Queensland Water Police, Marine Rescue Queensland (MRQ) and the State Emergency Services (SES).
• Lead and guide operating entities to complete asset related processes.
• Foster a challenging, equitable and safe work environment for staff, which encourages commitment, skills development, professional growth and continuous improvement.

Role Requirements

Qualification

• Demonstrated experience or qualification in Queensland Government Procurement or Financial Management and Accounting will be highly regarded.

Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience

• Demonstrated experience or understanding in strategic planning and asset management will be highly regarded.
