The opportunity as our Engagement Officer (digital content and social media), you will:
- Drive, inspire and implement creative social media posts and campaigns that bring the National Fire Ant Eradication Program's (the program) key messages to audiences
- Suggest, write and edit compelling content including copy, photos and reels that promotes the work of the program on social media and other channels
- Manage the program's weekly social media calendar and social media channels, including nurturing and building audiences on these platforms
- Work within a team to moderate community interactions on social media channels
- Explore new channels and stay up to date with the latest social media trends to continuously improve how we communicate and engage our stakeholders
- Generate reports on media/social media/digital coverage of specific issues or business areas as requested, and share insights with your communication and engagement colleagues and stakeholders
- Be a champion of proper processes, accountability, record-keeping and audit processes to ensure paid advertising campaigns produce value for money for Queenslanders.
- Maintain key internal relationships as part of the Customer Experience and Engagement team and provide key strategic digital advertising and marketing advice,
