Role details
The Operational Services at the Whitsunday Community Health Campus is seeking applications for an Operational Officer (Cleaner / Gardener) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
- This position will be responsible for providing support services for Whitsunday Community Health Campus by providing full gardening services, cleaning of the facility building (clinical, non-clinical and external areas), transportation of equipment and materials, removal of waste, and QH assets on site and basic grounds and facility maintenance.
- To comply with the requirements of Workplace Health and Safety, Code of Conduct, Equal Employment and Anti-discrimination practices and behaviours in the workplace,
- This position will require the ability to achieve the required quality and safety standards that are set within the department initiative and sound judgement, exercise a degree of autonomy and to work with and provide support for supervisor operational service.
About the Team
The Whitsunday Health Service is made up of two facilities: The Community Health Campus – Cannonvale and the Hospital Campus – Proserpine. The hospital is a 33-bed acute hospital, which offers a number of specialty inpatient and outpatient services. The Community Health Campus offers a range of Community Health services provided by a multi-disciplinary team.
