An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse Anaesthetics. This role requires advanced clinical and problem-solving skills in direct clinical care to the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative patient working alongside the Anaesthetist, as well as leadership, management, education/ research support for the unit.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- This role requires advanced clinical and problem-solving skills in direct clinical care to the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative patient - working alongside the Anaesthetist: as well as leadership, management, education / research support for the unit.
- Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety and ethical behaviour.
Remuneration value up to $124,957 p.a., comprising salary rates $54.44 - $58.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (part time position,72 hrs p.f.).
