The Mount Isa HSC has three vacant Senior Housing Officer positions within the Remote Communities team who support tenancy management in Doomadgee and Mornington Island.

We are looking to find the person best suited for each role and will be considering your knowledge, skills, experience, potential for development and future contribution to the department as well as your personal qualities and how they contribute to building a diverse workforce that reflects the Queensland community.

Each fortnight, you'll have the opportunity to visit these amazing communities as part of your role. In Doomadgee, you'll enjoy a cozy one-bedroom unit to yourself, and on Mornington Island, you'll stay in a spacious three-bedroom unit shared with your colleagues. After a rewarding day, you can unwind and enjoy your privacy. Plus, when you're on outreach, you'll receive a travel allowance.

Travel and accommodation expenses may be considered for the successful candidate.

Additionally, successful candidates will receive 5 weeks leave per annum and will be entitled to access the Regional and Remote Incentive payments after working here for 6 months.
