Principal Program Officer
Small and Family Business; Office of the Director-General; Director-General; Toowoomba
Helping small and family business owners get access to the right information and support when they need it is critical to ensuring Queensland’s economy and our communities are resilient and successful. As a member of the Small and Family Business Concierge team, you’ll be liaising with other agencies and organisations to assist small and family business owners and intenders to connect with government services.
*Due to recent machinery of government changes, this position will support the newly formed Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (DCSODSFB). This position will be advertised under the former DESBT while establishment changes are finalised*

As the Principal Program Officer, Business Concierge you will:
- Establish effective, collaborative working relationships with local agencies and organisations that are small and family business stakeholders.
- Engage with local small and family business owners and intenders to support their access to relevant services using a case management approach.
- Represent the department at a variety of forums, engagement activities, working parties and committees.
- Prepare reports, briefing papers, correspondence, and maintain detailed, accurate and up to date distribution and stakeholder records.

- Provide independent advice, both written and verbal, to senior officers on diverse issues.
